Netrinos creates a cloud of automatic VPN connections that overlay a private encrypted LAN on top of the public Internet. To you, it feels like you are still on your home network. But you can be anywhere in the world.
Your secure network is accessible only by your devices. They can see and talk to each other as if they were in the same room. But all of the traffic between them is protected by state-of-the-art encryption. By the way, traffic between them is encrypted even if they are in the same room.
Each device you add to your network is automatically allocated a static IP address with a friendly DNS name. Traffic between these addresses is always encrypted and only your devices have the keys.
You can extend your home or office network to wherever you happen to be. If you can surf the web, your private network will just work.
You add your devices to the network by installing our secure client software. Once connected, your devices are then able to communicate with each other securely without exposing any of the traffic to the public Internet.
Netrinos spans local networks, firewalls, routers, cellular connections, etc., without concern for network compatibility. Devices roam automatically regardless of location. Since all Netrinos connections are outbound, no local firewall or router configurations are necessary.
Devices on your Netrinos network connect via the WireGuard* VPN protocol. WireGuard is a state-of-the-art encryption protocol that allows devices to communicate securely at near wire speed while maintaining data privacy.
The Netrinos Client client software starts with WireGuard* and adds a zero-configuration layer that takes care of dynamic configuration changes, encryption key management, access permissions, and other network management tasks. The software manages your network so you can focus on your productivity.
Your network is defined by your account. Devices using the same account are automatically able to see and talk to each other. Your login is only used to gain initial access though. Once connected, the software issues each device individual encryption keys which are used for all network communications between devices. You only use your credentials when you install the software. From that point on, it’s all about encryption keys.
Once installed, the Netrinos software keeps track of all your devices and dynamically adjusts the connection and network configurations so that everything stays connected. If a device can see the Internet, you will be able to connect to it.
This makes working remotely with a team much easier. It allows you to easily connect back to your home network from a remote location without opening up holes in your firewall. You can then access files on your home PC as if you were sitting in the same room.
