Introduction

Bluefriday Inc., operating as The Netrinos Network ("Netrinos", "we", "us"), designed Netrinos with your privacy in mind. Your VPN traffic is encrypted by WireGuard, and we cannot access, read, or log its contents. Even our most privileged administrators cannot decrypt your network traffic.

This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Scope

This privacy policy applies to the netrinos.com website and its subdomains (including app.netrinos.com), the 2ho.ca domain and its subdomains used for device endpoints, the Netrinos application, and related services ("the Platform").

By using the Platform, you agree to this privacy policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

3. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address
• Name (if provided)
• Password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text)

Device and Network Metadata

To operate the mesh VPN service, we collect:

• Device names you assign
• Public keys for WireGuard encryption
• IP addresses of your devices
• Operating system and Netrinos version
• Network configuration (which devices can communicate)

This metadata is necessary for your devices to find and connect to each other.

Billing Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a US-based payment processor. We do not store your credit card numbers. Stripe provides us with:

• Tokenized payment references
• Billing address
• Transaction history

Your payment data is processed by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy.

Usage Information

We collect basic usage data to improve the service:

• When you log in
• Actions you take in your account (adding devices, inviting users)
• Error reports and diagnostics (if you enable them)

What We Do NOT Collect

• VPN traffic content: Your traffic is encrypted by WireGuard. We cannot access it.
• Browsing history: We do not log what you access through your VPN.
• Relay traffic logs: If your traffic passes through our relay servers, we do not log its contents or destination.
• Sensitive personal information: We do not collect health information, religious beliefs, political opinions, biometric data, or other sensitive categories.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the mesh VPN service
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send service-related communications (outages, security alerts, billing)
• Improve the Platform based on usage patterns
• Respond to support requests
• Detect and prevent abuse

We will never sell your personal information.

5. When We Share Your Information

We share your information only in these circumstances:

• Service providers: Stripe for payment processing, and infrastructure providers who help us operate the service. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or government request.
• Protection of rights: To enforce our terms, protect our rights, or investigate fraud or abuse.
• Business transfers: If Netrinos is acquired or merges with another company, your information may transfer to the new owner.

We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

The Platform uses cookies for:

We use Google Analytics to understand how the Platform is used. Google Analytics collects information such as page views, time on site, and general location (country/region). You can opt out using Google's browser add-on.

We retain your information while your account is active. When you close your account:

• Account information is deleted within 30 days
• Device metadata is deleted immediately
• Billing records are retained as required by tax law (typically 7 years)
• Backups containing your data are overwritten within 90 days

• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements).

• Encryption at rest for sensitive data

No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

10. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

11. Children

The Platform is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. International Transfers

Your information is processed in Canada. Some service providers (Stripe for payments, Google for analytics) may process data in the United States. If you are outside Canada, your information will be transferred to and processed in Canada or the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy by posting changes on our website. Material changes will be communicated via email or notice on the Platform. Changes take effect 30 days after posting.
